Update about my Daughter In Law

Electronic KMs Now Being Provided By Org to R&F?

i received a call from my book study conductor the other day asking for my email address so that he could start sending electronic copies of the km to me.

has anyone else received calls like this?

i've missed quite a few meeting (it's been nice) so am unaware if any letter has been read.

The km is so important, oh my, just have to be in on the latest little news - okay, I chased the guy down and finally obtained the precious. Was it worth all the trouble? No. Just a bunch of dumb junk. Again.

So the next time I'm sitting there without one because I didn't struggle through the crowd, I just came in and sat down. Now everyone around me noticing I don't have one, oh oh! Something must be terribly wrong with Marina, she doesnt have a km! Why did the elder not give her one? Should we share our copy or maybe the elders want her to be ignored!

You can be a little bit outcast, a little disapproved, a little bit tarnished and diminished, or totally demeaned and humiliated, just according to how they turn the dimmer switch. Because the wt is a cult, corrupt and criminal.

It is painful to reflect on the fact that my family and I ever supported this criminal cult. I wish we had left for the reason that they have protected child abusers. We didn't realize the extent of the abuse or the vast amounts of money that was being spent on settling abuse lawsuits, until after we had faded for quite a while.

But at least we stopped contributing, i guess that's the main thing.

RIP: Timothy Campbell

this is old news, as it happened six or so months ago, but i just found out today.

timothy campbell died of kidney cancer in november of 2013. he started one of the first ex-jw forums, beyondjw.

i met him in person once.

My husband and I sent a letter addressed to the kh so anyone could have opened it. We just said both of us wanted no longer to be associated with jw's or known as jw's, and we both signed. We haven't heard a word from anyone since but I'm pretty sure it took, becuz nobody came around before the memorial, which they used to do.

i don't even really know what i want from this site (ironically i remember jehovahs-witness.net mentioned from the platform as a site not to go to).

Stum, you have for sure come to the right place and you will start to feel so much better as your de-programming goes along. 99% of the contributors here are brilliant thinkers and writers, compassionate and understanding as well as tremendously generous. I have been given so much encouragement to heal that sometimes nowadays I don't even have a thought about the jw or wt for several days at a time.

I enjoy using the Search and just type in different terms like reinstated or phrases like how long does reinstatement take, and then read experiences of hundreds of others who woke up to realize they had been in a cult.
